Previous Work

  • Scoping study for WWF Mexico & WRAP - Plastics Pact

    21 HOLISTIK conducted a feasibility study for WWF Mexico and UK-based circular economy NGO, WRAP, to establish a voluntary plastics pact for Mexico. It was important for the pact to operate in close collaboration with Mexico’s existing initiatives and projects, and bring clear added value.

    21 HOLISTIK conducted research to understand the context of plastic pollution in the country, identify potential key actors and evaluate the positions of large national and multinational companies operating in Mexico.

  • Alliances for Climate Action MX - Review of Theory of Change and rules for participation

    21 HOLISTIK worked with Alliances for Climate Action (ACA) to help bolster its work promoting climate action among cities, companies, NGOs and academics in Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mexico City.

    Focusing on energy, transport and waste, 21 HOLISTIK evaluated ACA’s Theory of Change and proposed a new model of organization and governance for Mexico, with the goal of strengthening the alliances’ national identity while maintaining their autonomy at the regional level.

  • GHG and SBTi training for WWF’s Climate Business Network (and their suppliers)

    21 HOLISTIK prepared and delivered technical online training sessions on greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and science-based target setting for members of WWF’s Climate Business Network (CBN) across the Americas, Europe and Africa.

    Bespoke training materials were developed for companies to learn the most important concepts of the GHG Protocol and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and navigate the resources available. The sessions included practical exercises for participants to apply the knowledge gained.

  • UNGC Climate Ambition Accelerator

    21 HOLISTIK was, for the third consecutive year, the consultancy selected to support the UN Global Compact’s Climate Ambition Accelerator. The Climate Ambition Accelerator aims to scale up credible climate action across companies of all sizes, sectors and regions, enabling them to deliver on commitments to reduce emissions at scale.

    The 21 HOLISTIK team facilitated expert sessions on science-based target-setting with the latest information from SBTi resources and hands-on support with using SBTi tools, drawing on the team’s thirteen years of expertise.
